Don’t let me walk away
I cant stand the sanctuary of peace I built for myself
I want to feel love and pain
I long for you like the dark longs for the light
Its been quiet for far too long
“Hold me like you held me close the last night
Except this time don’t let me go
Kiss me goodnight
But be there when I open my eyes
To the morning light”
My lips have forgotten the feel and taste of your kiss
My body has forgotten the feel of your touch
My h eart longs to feel the imprint of your love once more
Too proud to admit I’m needing you
I write it out in words my tongue can’t speak
“Hold me like you held me close the last night
Except this time don’t let me go
Kiss me goodnight
But be there when I open my eyes
To the morning light”
Do you dream of me,
Wake up craving me beside you?
Have you called out my name in your sleep
Only to realize I’m no longer there
Do you remember the sound of my heart in sync with yours?

People never forget things that mean something to them .. and hopefully that person wont forget what a wonderful person u are.. and u have to belive that one day they are going to look at a picture of u and go Damn I miss them what an idiot i was..

How hard it is to long for someone like you long for that person. I love the last line. I hope that person does remember the words.

I can feel the longing. It is poignant and beautiful. In the first stanza it feels more like you are in a monastery than a sanctuary, and need help to escape, to climb the high walls of loneliness.
