Though I am not shallow most of the time
my thoughts don't run too deep
so many thoughts bounce around
in this head of mine
Who has the time to be deep?
but right now, deep they are
studying all this algebra
There are X and Y, exponents
and roots that are square
so much to learn and grasp
for this old brain of mine
the main thing I ponder is
What am I ever going to use this for
I'm not looking to be an engineer
scientist or any thing like that
with all this studying
my brain is on fire
my head wants to explode
breath... relax... breath... relax...
Lord help me get through this
