slow slant
of crimson rays,
past horizon’s hued curve
cloud tendrils, remnants of day’s sigh
vanish
crescent moon touches Venus’ lure
as descends dusk’s delight,
rim of cosmos
swirls near

Absolutely beautiful! Splendid imagery. Excellent alliteration. Superb word choice. Loved "slow slant of crimson rays," "horizon's hued curve" and "remnants of day's sigh." I think my favorite part is "crescent moon touches Venus' lure." This is outstanding, and a delight to read.

Re:Eventide
Just a beautiful little poem. Is it a cinquain or what? I like your imagers and choice of words. Great poem -- I like it!

I like the crescent moon being drawn to Venus' allure in this swirl of setting sunlight.

I like this butterfly cinquain, the images are crisp, achieved by a good choice of words. Well Done!
