Ripped to shreds, tiny pieces everywhere
Haphazardly strewn, waiting to be found
Look up and down, over here, over there
Shards of shattered soul, scattered on the ground
Recollect it all, each day is newfound
Live life complete in all you do and say
Tomorrow brings hope, offering new days...
Haphazardly strewn, waiting to be found
Look up and down, over here, over there
Shards of shattered soul, scattered on the ground
Recollect it all, each day is newfound
Live life complete in all you do and say
Tomorrow brings hope, offering new days...

Tomorrow does bring new hope - that is truly the gift of perseverance.
I like that you chose this prompt. It is always good to write on strength.
Perfect syllable count, rhyme scheme and well done to the requested form.
I would have liked to see a bit more depth in this write which I know is difficult due to form restraints. Perhaps multiple stanzas might have helped to deepen the expression.
I wanted to know what was ripped to shreds and why do those shred matter in the scheme of tomorrow's offering of hope.
All in all a good Rhyme Royal. I thank you for your entry and am pleased to have read this today. Best of luck in the judging. ~Pamela
