Have you Heard me Today?

Have you heard me today?
Have I been as bad as always?
Is there hope for me still in the far beyond?
Will I get to go with you?

Have you heard me today,
Or have you turned to look the other way?
Grant me your loving gaze,
But for this fleeting moment.
My soul cries out parched and dry,
I crave to be quenched by your water.
How much does it cost?
Do I even have enough,
Will I ever have enough?

Have you heard me today?
My eyes are burning with tears,
I am lost in the depth of the well.
I see no escape.
My fingers claw every which way.
Fear has crept in.
Have you heard me today?
I am dirty with filth,
And tinged with musty odor.
My visage makes me sick.
Can you even stand to look at me?
Has your ear bent my way?

Have you heard me today?
Are you repulsed by me?
What can I do to be cleansed?
It's too late now.
I'm fading much faster than before.
Sweet oblivion quickly gains.

Have you heard me today?
I'm coming to stay soon.
I've packed my bags,
Purchased my one way ticket.
I'm traveling alone.
Don't bother making up a bed,
I'm fine with sleeping on the floor.

Have you heard me today?
Oh well, I guess it doesn't matter.
See you soon,
Much love,
Me

How strong, creative and powerful write from here, how I can relate so much, the theme of being "clean" because I feel so dirty all the time, inside and out, this is like my anthem, my hidden secret and truth at the same time...
