Dad’s Garden (In loving memory)

Our dad went on a journey, through final hours of human life.
He reminisced his time on earth, the sadness and the strife.
But also recollected, countless times of joyful bliss.
His children gave him love and pride, his wife gave happiness.

His gentle touch and giving heart, touched more then just a few.
The sun and moon has felt a loss and earth has shed a tear or two.
Now we’re standing in dad’s garden, viewing all that he has sown;
grandchildren tending loving seed as he stands before Gods throne.

We know he was received with love, from those whom passed before.
What a joyous celebration, a grand reunion, on heavens shore.
No more pain in his weary body, and no more worries on his mind.
For dad has harvested his garden and left this human world behind.

Who is this to you, my dear? Your Father?

AwHHhhhhhhh. I'm so sorry. I know this. I loved my Father too. It's been 5 years. I NOW know him in a way that I didn't. I touch the afterthoughts of his being that could only be recognized as he left us.

I pray for your support, peace, and that grieving be also closure!

    Love, Dianne the CookieZeal

    Beautiful

Would that we could all look upon death that way and be able to say as much about all of our loved ones who pass. Thank you for sharing with me sister

    God Bless

Wonderful beauty to honour your dad.
    So sorry for your loss...
A Brazilian poet wrote many years ago those words: death is merely a continuation and death provides a greater panorama of life.

    I agree with those words.
    Sending you a warm hug...
