Nothing between
Me
And my freedom
But steel bars
Nothing between
But everything
In my way
The one I love
My ocean
My air
Now a hurricane
Crime
Written in his perfect eyes
How could I ever
Let that face
That beautiful face
Reside here
In sadness's realm
Salt tears
Bitter lies
Unforgiving past
I never wronged
I only loved
And now
Stuck here for eternity
For my lover
Author notes
I hope that made sense...
Basically the person's lover committed a crime and then she said that she did it so now she's in prision for something she didn't do.

I could never
to admit to a crime is not something you take in place of another . For no love in the world could ever help him if he is such a small person as to let his spouse be jailed for them . I say let them do the time for the crime never take that priveledge that comes with being a criminal away from them .

Ahh.. sounds like being betrayed by someone trusted and paying for their crime! Nicely done!!
