He looked into her eyes
Whispering beautiful lies
Telling her all the things
That each of us long to hear
But he’s not sincere
He coats his lies with honey
Making the tone
The composition perfection
He ripped her life apart
That night in the park
Stealing her innocence
Like it was his to take
As her lungs burned
Her eyes stung
And her mind seared
Screaming for help
Fighting a captor
Too strong
Too determined
No, didn’t cut it
Stop, didn’t abate his wanting
As his sugar coated words were
Revealed for what they were
His key to a door that had been shut
His opening for his lust and desire
The truth revealed so bluntly
Can’t be comprehended
She clung to it as a one-time thing
A night of a bad day
A delusion she tried so desperately to keep
Until the day he shattered her dream world
With the kiss on another girls lips
It’s not that she never knew
Only that she refused to believe
Only that we all refuse to believe

well this is jsut friggin frighteneing! you have done a good job changing alot of events in this poem to twist it into this dark poem of yours. to me obviously its about being attacked raped of your morals your being inside as it is stripped to a bloodless blob of nothingness leavin ya empty inside. any ways a very scary dark poem but a well penned one at that. stay strong for ya got a knight in shining armor thus lance or Sir Lance any ways keep writing. Well it is mostly true... all but where it took place. It all happened to me... it's all too real. And I do have a knight in shining armor. He is the best thing that ever happened to me and I don't think he realizes it which breaks my heart. I want him to know more than anything, but I can't think of a way to show him.
