What I like about changing seasons is the show of colours. Watch nature changing clothes, little by little change.
I wonder if you really need the word 'turn' on L2.
Nice images you show here

Dear Margaret,
Love your haiku's! I get sad, though, as summer comes to an end (I love the warmth..even when it gets too hot (like today!)).
Best of Luck in this contest!
Love,
Maureen

Dear Maureen, thank you very much for your comment! I used to get sad about autumn, but now I think about the spring that is only a few months away and turn my collar up against the wind.
Good luck to you too!

Dear Margaret, two lovely haiku's on fall arriving with the leaves and the chestnuts falling.
We have spring soon arriving here same as our neighbours Australia. I look forward to seeing all the blossoms on the tree. Good luck in the contest.
Good to see you back, I hope you enjoyed your time with your family.
Love Hine

Thank you Hine. I agree that the chestnut in bloom is lovely too; we enjoyed that a few months ago. After the heat we had this summer, the trees are ready for their winter rest!
Thanks for asking about my vacation, it was great.

Dear Margaret,
Thankyou for these two haiku (or does the reference to football make number 2 a senryu?)
Great to have you back and that you could find time to join us. Best of luck in contest.
Applause, love and hugs, XXX Hugh (R.)

Dear Hugh,
you are probably right. I was referring to the way people kick conkers around.
Thanks for the invitation to this contest. Happy judging!

Haiku! Haiku! Bless you, Margaret...
These two Haikus are packed full of wonderful imagery as full as a chipmunk's cheeks are packed with nuts. Well done!
