Majestic Unicorn

like a diamond they shine, their rarity in form
what more could a girl want, besides a unicorn
They're majestic and special, in their own way
definately a girls choice, over a boy any day
sure boys can be sweet, but they come and go
a girls love for her unicorn, will forever grow
their beauty so divine, only few can understand
unless lucky enough, to experience firsthand
they love you like no other, and protect you from harm
they speak to your soul, and posess such charm
loyal and tender, always by your side
no secret to them, a girl couldn't confide
a girls guardian angel, her guiding light
a girl with her unicorn, is when her heart takes flight
but you must first believe with all your might
and maybe....just maybe.....
yours will find you tonight!

Oh. This is a nice little poem that you have written in here. This would be a great poem for many girls to read because I know a lot of girls when they were little that just loved them. I agree that there is just something special and otherworldly about those unicorns that you just can't help but admire them. You did a good job of expressing yourself here.

    Soooooooooo Beautiful!!!!
Yes, I think you're right, girls love unicorns the most. They are such beautiful, gentle creatures, just like a magic horse. I loved the lines:
'their beauty so divine, only few can understand
unless lucky enough, to experience firsthand'
It makes the experience real. The only love to compare is that of a faithful teddy. Very nicely penned indeed. Thank you for sharing.

Well I know what I'd rather have over a unicorn any day.. but let's not go there. Nicely crafted write, like the way you extend the metaphor throughout. Occasional grammar typo - check out your use of the possessive apostrophe - girl's - for example and you also need to have a look at the lack of punctuation in places as it can create ambiguity and cloud meaning for the reader. Apart from that, the rhyme seems to work pretty effectively overall. Sweet write, thanks for sharing.
