These Tears (Ii)

These tears are for you.
These tears are for me.
These tears are for her.
Because you could never be.

I am at fault.
I said something wrong.
She crushed your heart.
And now you’re long gone.

You may not return.
But I hope you do.
So I can make things right.
Because I need you.

You were there for me.
And how did I repay?
I sapped your strength.
And pushed you away.

Now I must be strong.
All by myself.
Because I let you in.
And I need your help.

I call on your strength.
but you are not there.
To help the one you love,
the siren so fair.

She is hurt too, you know.
And it’s all my fault.
My words mangled your heart,
and brought hope to a halt.

This poem is a plea.
To those whom I love.
Please make it stop.
These tears I speak of.

I am the trickster,
at me you may yell.
Just so long as I can hear it.
Clear as a bell.

I fight for my tears.
For yours, for hers.
I am so sorry.
And as my vision blurs,

I see the end.
And may you be joyed.
Just know that I am going.
