Momentum

Missing image

Like fate slowly seeping,

We paddled with leaks
‘round islands
of cedar

over open waters
of birds and prey.

Cumulus creations painted
thick upon the bluest canvas
of a child’s wonder.

Thunder echoed off sunshine

that danced through the rain
of placid reflections.

Moments
etch
memories;

just as words reveal poems…

I want the world to hear
When I laugh
And cry,

When I set in motion

momentum

that will be
every bit of tomorrow
it was today.

    This is pure...
a magical day that has already been
tucked into a memory's treasure chest.
I admire the way each detail is placed
with colour and an elevated sense of
mystical. The images are gorgeous! Blue

Moments etch memories, - paddling with leaks. Beautiful, pure, and wonderfully real as it will be every bit of tomorrow as it was today.

Thank you for a magnificent rainbow. Tomorrow is here. ~Pamela

This is a sweet piece. I do think the lines and stanzas need to be played with a bit, some of the stand alones really don't feel like they need to stand alone.

Still all in all a good piece
