Hurrah! congratulations
for your HM Maureen!
We had a weird storm during the summer, when the bottom arch of the rainbow was visible! I had never seen that before. -
-
Thanks, Margaret!
When I see or experience new things, I make a wish. I wait patiently to see if my wish will be granted.

I missed a chance! All I did was take a picture!

Beautiful haiku
I think it's wonderful, very descriptive.
All this coming from someone who does not like haiku.

-
Amazing rainbows!
"into each life a little rain must fall"
This makes it worth a fortune!
-
Dear Maureen, what a beautiful haiku and picture.
You have done very well for your first haiku.
I must be off now, Heath is waiting for me at home.
good luck my friend.
Hine

Dear Maureen,
As I see Heathcote has commented: "Fantastic photograph"
and I think your 5/7/5 haiku is equally impressive.
carefully crafted as usual exuding imagery without a single superfluous syllable. Well done!
Best of luck in contest. Hope you are having a good day.
Applause, love and hugs, XXX Hugh.

-
Fabulous!
What a fantastic photograph! I'm glad I caught your very fitting haiku before I logged out. (Hugh wants to use his PC to do a weekend message which he says is overdue.)
Do I vote for number 0 ?? LOL
Congratulations on splendid entry for which I wish you best of luck in the contest (YAY!! We don't have to vote in this one!)
Applause and love, Heathcote.

This is it - a rainbow only appears when there is sun AND rain. A nice visual haiku. Good luck!

Yessss Maureen I see you have entered a haiku. A beaut picture and lovely 5/7/5 haiku to go with it.
Beautiful my dear Soul/Sister.
Love Joan

Thank you, my sweet Soul/Sister!
Haiku's give me a headache but I didn't want to disappoint our King. I had many rough drafts and still wasn't sure of the finished product until I started receiving lovely comments like yours. I think I'll leave it alone now (although I'm still not completely satisfied with the first line).
Love, Maureen

Don't change it sweetheart, it's lovely as it is. I was like that on my first haiku I did a few years ago, I had the help of my Niece Mia (iamfromabove)in Hugh's group who tells me she now has internet again so she'd better get herself back here quick smart.

And if you follow it you will find gold! Wouldn't that be nice. If I did I'd buy AP and make everyone a gold member...heck, no I wouldn't I'd just send them all a 100,000 bucks.

Sorry, got dreaming. Intriguing graphic, colors in it fit your haiku' description...I can feel that cooler rain hitting my face. (Though we've had plenty...make it stop!)

Thanks, Yem! I like the way you think..and appreciate your generosity! Indians do a rain dance but I've never heard of them doing a sun dance, have you?

An expressive, creative equation
you have created here,
red hot + cool gray = rainbow!

Thanks, M-C!
I'm happy you liked my equation!
