So many people say life is just beginning
clearly without counting the ends
So many threads, cut and thinning,
As everyone's horizon extends
I feel like life has left me behind
Covered in dusty regrets and tears
If this be my fate, I am resigned
to all the countless, speeding years
Everyone has found a fresh start
With the world opening at their front door
And with dreams in their pockets they depart
off to find adventure galore
And am I simply forgotten to all
with out a fresh start or course?
a far off memory they can not recall
As time slips by despite effort and force
I sorely miss my friends
But I can not gather them again to me
Time always tears ties to rends
They have so much they'd rather be
If this is just the beginning, the start
What was all that before?
Not the beginning, no, just the end of a part
Not something I can ignore
