I sit here,
In these warm waters,
On an island far away from you,
All alone, even though I’m surrounded by others.
I gaze upwards to the lily-white moon,
The diamond sparkling stars,
The celestial planets
And the fiery comets that roar by…
While staring up at those heavenly bodies,
I wonder, I contemplate,
What are you up to tonight?
Has anything happened to you?
Are you ok…?
I don’t know the answers to my questions
At this point in time…
But what I do know,
From the dark depths of the ocean,
To the farthest reaches of outer space,
Without a doubt,
I truly do…
…I truly do.

Being a lost soul in love.. This write speaks to me like a.... book on tap.... lol I've been that place more than once, Where all you can think about it that one person, how they make you feel. Its full of amazing imagery. It was once said by some one much smarter than I. A single persons life can make more rippes in the ocean of our lives than ever could be thought. It is totaly true.. I hope that kinda made sence..This is a great write.. Keep penning!

I like it...it's very simple though. Some of the descriptions are very overused...like the diamond stars...which I've used myself, so don't take it oo personally I thought the title didn't do the poem justice. Wha about "lily White" for a title instead? It is found within the piece, but it also describes the purity of love. I dunno. Just a thought.
