the sun goes down
the earth turns cold
leafs fly with the wind
blowing in your hair
a mirror for the moon
to smile in, cold and deep
just feet away from you
wrapped up in a soft pull over
face, hands cold and flushed
just sit watching
mesmerized by every little thing
tree whipping around you
you feel like the only thing on earth
you stare out on to the view like
something out of a dream
when the world was just waking up
it has the smell of snow
but the look of a crisp fall night
to cold for birds and bugs to make their sounds
you could sit for days suspended in the seen,
and never be happier
