My Sun

I’ve been in the dark, felt the despair
Lived with the pain, gasped for more air
Begged to wake up, a new day begun
And while you don’t know it, you were my Sun

Rambled through years, yet still unfulfilled
Searching for something, still not revealed
Knowing that somewhere, there was the one
And while you may doubt it, you were my Sun

Shared my embarrassment, bared my soul
Opened the book, my life as a whole
Secrets revealed, the regrets that are done
And while you’re still wondering, you were my Sun

Ready to live now, the truth is released
Heart open to love, secrets have ceased
Target is locked, like the sight on a gun
And finally admitting, you are my Sun

    My

This is one dark and yet realing write. The harshnes of deprssion and that one love that counters that hidden pain. May your Sun shine brilliantly. Write on poet.
