It is a baseless Infactuation.
Love is like a naked flame,
It burn the heart apart and leaves
the wax to put it all together.
Love is like a shrad of glass,
once stepped on it cuts deeply.
Love is like an eclipse,
It darkens the sky of your heart
leaving you cold and empty.
Love is like a mirror,
you only see what you want.
Love is like a nightmare
It haunts you when you are weak
and leaves only traces when you are strong.
Love is like a Mirage
You can only believe from a distance.
Love is like a unknown destination,
you can only follow the tracks of time.
Love is a hunger that gnaws and eats away
your passion for life.
Love is the beginning of an unwanted end.
Love is an enternal abyss of pain
doubt, trust, sorrow and Joy.
Love is a path that is least taken.
Love is the epitome of insecurity.
Love is a faded memory that lingers
in the depth of our empty souls.
Love creates a void that can only be
closed by an endless supply of hate.

Judging this by flow and phrasing it was good.
Unfortunately judging it by my own personal tastes it is incredibly cliche.
You also have not followed the rules by putting the option in your author box. Even though it is painfully obvious what you are writting about it still needs to be in there.
