The depth of every ocean
Hides its immortal soul
Each fertile pulsing wave
Brings life to every shore
As men march off to death
In every human war
And blood flows back to life
In rivers wide and long
While aeons mirror life
In every eternal song
And history etched in sand
Spills on endlessly
Through the story of our lives
In every foreign land

You are always so supportive that I think you are my #1 fan. I appreciate your stopping in today to read my work. And I will get back with you on that question you asked earlier. Touchy subject. Anyway, thanks again, you made my day, John!!!
I'm glad you like my poem, although I'm at a loss in thinking of a better title. "Of Wave and Sand" seems to fit alright, but it's not exactly a memorable one. Thank you again for stopping in to read my work today, and thanks for the kudos. I am honored.
