broken
split and shattered
cracked pieces
days worn leftovers
come night
the moon caresses
smoother's scares
nurtures with care
cloaks under darkness
protected in her sheltered beam
embraces without judgement
she holds no ill will
like a child of her womb
she blankets with veils
