Letters of Moonshine

Dear Moon

Who guides lovers and romance by pale-lantern light
And crosses their paths; morever than the sun
Shine brightly for me tonight.

Great short poem. Do not think that because your poem didnt acheive your greatest intents (or the contest holder's) that this was a failure - IT WAS BRILLIANT!

There's nothing more satisfying than a short and sweet poem like this one that pulls off it's purpose so well. It's a simple piece of the longing for love and I loved it deeply. I don't know if you did well in the contest, but if it brought joy to the people who read it that's all that matters right? Keep up the good work!! Great job!!

    Sincerely,

"You who feeds off sun's light,
    may you be as bright,
    and glorious as day."

I once wrote a poem about the moon. I don't know where it went. But I think your entire poem was better than the one verse above. Love the ending. Great job, thanks for your cmnt.

I liked how you began it, like you were addressing a letter to the moon itself, interesting . Short and to the point, but wonderful at the same time! =].
