Can we 'stop'
be free of invention
meet all as is
on its own terms
without
subtraction or addition;
really walk
really stand
and sit with
the whole of ourselves.
properly meet
in silence,
speak then be silent
disinterested enough
to be and let be,
naked in the moments
meet our selves
impartially,
perhaps for the first
and for the last time
in this life?

Well our 'opinion' of who we are or should be is seldom the same as the actual being of who we are. The 'should be' part, is nothing to do with it, as it is or isn't and if it should be then surely it isn't because otherwise it would be.
Yes I believe we can meet ourselves in an honesty which goes beyond mere subjective opinion and that this is the greatest mystery for us to approach... a trust and love in Truth being better, more wholesome and most of all beautiful than limited opinion.
... that's my opinion anyway

For some reason, interestingly enough, this makes me wonder if you do truly see yourself, and others, as a being, apart from the physical, sometimes? I do believe it can happen, that you meet on a deeper level also...very beautifully done!
