i crawl accross this cracked expansion.
mist presses to the point of claustrophobia.
the water makes contact with my bare freezing skin.
washing off the dry crusted salt to create potential.
freedom is my consequence.
happiness is my price.
or is my consequence wisdom.
and life my price.
i came here searching for my unknown need.
and will never be able to leave disappointed.
a dry wind sweeps me further into despair.
dead ends. stretches of sea between life and death.
in moonlights path land is created.
for me to crawl on forever.
wishing to know nothing more.
unable to die.
i came to a land of beauty. searching.
now to me its a nightmare.
Author notes
i feel like i'm crawling on endleesly. its not really fun.

i love how this is written like its in the middle. i could completely see this as the afterlife.
chilling yet beautifull poem. -
I think you did a wonderful job here, the mood was right, the feelings were there, and a few lines that were amzing.
I wasn't sure thought when I read the poem, what you were talking about at first. Still, I understood at the end, and liked it enough to read it again.
Wonderful entry, thank you,
jin
