Macabre Waltz II

Skeleton dance,
Surrounding me in a circle of death,
I stand dead center.

Beckoning me to join I refuse,
this macabre mist of dying solitude
surrounds me, I cannot escape.

The skeletons close in,
Allowing no escape.
My soul is consumed,
skeleton left agape.

Skeleton dance,
a waltz so macabre,
signaling death.
Time for me to go.
