My best friend

I have a teddy
named Celeste,
She's dressed all

in Sunday best
She sits to,
watch my guest
Looking dapper
like the rest.

 

if I'm ever in

a muddle

she's the one

I love to cuddle

but one day I 

dropped her in

a muddy puddle

 

So put her in the

kitchen sink,

to make her look

pretty and pink,

but she looked

all bright,

so I dressed her

in a dress of white.

 

Now she looks

a clean cool sight,

she is my best friend

all-day and  all-night,

so if your teddy slips

into a puddle always

give her lots of cuddles.

    Oohhhhhh!

    I can just imagine that! Good rhyme, here, as well as description. I can just picture it, especially as most teddies are light brown, and some yellow or white. Oh! This is a touching piece! Best of luck in the contest!
