not so serene
she scrubs her hands
but feels unclean
scrubbing scrubbing
she starts to bleed
can't someone give her
the help she needs?
what happend to her?
what warped her brain?
does she think that beauty
will come from pain?
the water will carry
the blood away
but the marks on her hands
are here to stay

the lights aren't on
they tried to help her
