Dressed in pink and feeling gorgeous,
the tiny girl felt everything but nervous.
Here she was, all ready to go,
sitting expectantly on the floor for the glow
of the scarlet lights on the dance theatre floor,
hoping that her audience would want to see more.
When she finally came out with a blushing face,
ready to show her enchanting, rhythmic grace,
the ones scouting dancing aptitude cheered out loud,
and our beautiful dancing friend looked in the crowd
for the man she loved very dearly;
who would never miss a single recital, clearly.
The little ballerina found him and gave him a smile,
and he was just so glad his precious pretty darling
would not leave home for a long while.

this is so sweet and tender but in a subdued way that is wonderful. I love your flow of words and the imagery. I love the sentiment you added at the end, it was perfect. great job on this one!
