Moonlight on pale skin
Swaying in rocky glen
Grey billows scrub familiar face
Darkened by vernal eclipse
Soon you are gone
My quantum entanglement
Cannot define my self
Without
Yet I still feel you
I have enough faith
To speak to the night sky
To speak to my darkness
My agitation I am so trying to quell
I have learned so much
About love
Can't you tell?
Swaying in rocky glen
Grey billows scrub familiar face
Darkened by vernal eclipse
Soon you are gone
My quantum entanglement
Cannot define my self
Without
Yet I still feel you
I have enough faith
To speak to the night sky
To speak to my darkness

Author notes
Option 6, inspired by contest title
This past easter, the vernal equinox was also a lunar eclipse. It was very cloudy here that night, and my daughter was in a school play. I slipped out to monitor the changes. Finally writing about it...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYK_Bemj29s

Love the choice of words and the imagery created here. I remember that vernal equinox/eclispe as well (2008, right?) and WOW was it amazing. This is a beautiful tribute to it.

As always ...
spiritually deeply reflective, in the essence of the word. So very well written. You surely do not let memorable moments slip by.

Penumbra-shadow?wonderful story behind the words.
I took a little extra time, because if you put it there in the author's notes, it must be important.
Beautiful song, lovely poem, best wishes and blessings always,
