Madness

A silly jingle
    stuck in my head
playing over and over.

I sing, I listen to the radio
  and still it lingers…

I recite poetry,
  I even watch TV,
anything to keep it from
driving me to madness.

Exhausted, I retire
and crawl under my blankets…
              and sheet music.

Okay - I'm tired LOL. I saw this and the first thing I thought of was a song that has been buzzing around my mind all day... and how irritating it was.

    Don't you just HATE when this happens??? I drive myself crazy at times, especially when I can't remember the title to the soneg.

    Therein lies your problem ... you rid yourself of that annoying jingle by listening to the radio further rather than switching to a more visual approach .. Just hope you don't receive a worse jingle to stick inside ... or could be even worse, could have two of them!

    ... but yes, jingles can be verry annoying ...
