stop whining about aching feet
you haven't seen nothing yet
the carousal is beginning to spin
cancan dancers are on their way
the music's from yesterday or tomorrow
oh never mind it's all the same
candy-cane world is worth its weight in sugar cubes
red and white make such a pretty pair
flying horses have no time to stand and stare
going around in circles is a good way to travel
the world is round and you only live once
or a couple of times at least

Thank You!!
Thank You for Your entry: cane candy carnival
This piece tugged hard at Spirit and while I was reading which I do several times~ Images come to me in many forms~ while taking in Your words: cancan dancers- I had to chuckle at this for I was seeing Benny Hill
Different episodes which had me rolling
After reading Your words- I was hungry for something sweet- I kept seeing cotton candy- emphasis on pink cotton candy and the making of it- how the fluffy cotton is spun for some reason- also shown Barnum and Bailey Circus-however that is to be interpreted-
- Whether metaphor or symbolism
Hopefully this makes some sense~
Excellent take on the prompt ~
Powerful images & message You have brought forth

Thank You for sharing Your Talent also Voice!
Best wishes to You in the contest Sweet Soul
**Judging will be done shortly...
Many blessings too
and much love & light~ Desire~*~
