Fur the color of honey
Eyes reminiscent of iced tea
Paws delicately placed
My Evie is so beautiful to me
Tea parties and play dates
I promise not to fuss
When other little girls want to handle you
Though I don't allow it too much
One day I lost you
I will never forget that day
I felt my world would crumble
Without my best friend to play
But you were found
Inside my toy chest
I sleep more sound now
