I had to chuckle at the last haiku in this string! The first two descibed what I saw on TV. Isn't it amazing that we all may be watching the same thing at the same time, thousands of miles away.

Here have a pastry and some java. Thanks for sharing my sofa with me.

    Much Love ♥

    Dear Heath,

Enjoyed your haiku's! I haven't been watching the Olympic games (my husband watches a few events). He told me the American contestants dropped the baton while winning the foot race in the last Olympic games, too. Pretty frustrating thing to see..especially when it's history repeating itself!

I shall write my sports haiku after the US men and women basketball teams finish trouncing the competition.

I wish they had hot dog eating in the Olympics, I'd be a contestant.

    Dear Heathcote,

Thankyou for this update on "The Games". I see the Evers-Swindell twins won GOLD by 0.01 seconds! Our first Beijing Gold Medal for NZ.
(Can't help wondering if Hitler would've shaken hands with them. LOL)
Appolause and best of luck, Hugh (R.)
