sparkling glass, slashes the air
it sings a tune the moon might hear
that's how far, that's how clear
the sound flew away from there
she steps upon the crystal pieces
because she loves the feel of real
and though it hurts, she's had worse
but Lucille, Lucille
you aren't made of steel
a dazzling eye, crashes her heart
and behind his stark hair
is its azure counterpart
yet she's smitten she finds
with his dark half-blind stare
but Lucille, Lucille
these times aren't fair
he takes her, he breaks her
the earth shakes and wakes her
as her world is colored with
more shades of red despair
and though the sun and the stars
still blink their halos of light
the circle above her brow
is somehow
the brightest tonight
and Lucille, Lucille
believes death is almost alright

awww this really felt like it meant something, I don't know if this is about someone you really know, or whether imagined, but it's very sad.
