My Army Man

I hate being happy because he's not near,
I hate being worried and mad with this fear,
I can't seem to focus,
On anything here,
Anxious and scared,
Worried with this fear,
My mind is distant,
Many miles from here,
With him by my side,
Not regreting at all what I may leave behind,
My screams for his company,
Echoing far in the distance,
His screams of anger ring in my ears,
Together again,
Yet alone in an instant,
Crying and crazy alone in this distance,
Against these feeling I have no resistance.

My childs father is in the military. It is difficult to have someone around you all the time for years and then have that love so far away.

    Nice flow and awesome rhyme! Just a few spelling errors:

    Worrid- I think you mean Worried
    Anxiouse- I think you mean Anxious
