Still Life of Love!

My affections repose
on silken strings,
weaved by passions
magical embrace.

For you, my delight,
have captured my love,
as a still life snapshot,

ever imprinted in the
citadel of your heart.

Fragile as morning lillies
exuding the fragrance
of true romance.

Framed like a masterpiece
of infinite glory,
shared by twin hearts
of devotion.

I like how you turned the broken heart image into a write of true and aspiring lasting love. Written with evident hope and peace within the spirit that shines deeply within like a dewy reflection beneath a rising sun. thank you for entering and many blessings always

Wow, Darell, this piece is gorgeous. It's a true reminder of what I am looking for in life, and I cannot begin to explain here the joy that it gives me that you have captured it so entirely well. I adore the idea of the concept being captured in a snapshot; it makes me literally think both of a snapshot and the reality that the feeling is unforgettable. You also caught my attention with lilies, since they are my absolutely favorite flower and carry a beautifully strong fragrance, strong and revealed truthfully like love should be. And finally I think the last stanza is beautiful and ties the whole concept of love together: that it should be shared equally between two people. Thank you for such a beautiful reminder and inspiration.

    pretty

I loved your final verse, it was the best out of all of them! If you want an advice, i would only say that the line number 7 doesn't quite roll off of your tounge as well as the other lines do

    enchanting

    i love the imagery
i was standing in the rain a few days ago
just admiring, feeling, touching the sky
sort of not like gene kelly
    but
being inspired by, feeling a deep love of nature,
all that has been created in a beautiful, practical, way
how each part of the world, people, too
    supplement fulfill each other's needs
the clouds, sky, air, earth, wind
all playing a part to fulfill the storm
i got that sense from your work
time, love standing still to create a beautiful picture
    superb
    and smart, too

Beautiful write...that is true love. I wish I had that kind of love given to me...instead of me just giving it...

I loved your language and the structure worked well!

    "Framed like a masterpiece
    of infinite glory,
    shared by twin hearts
    of devotion."

That's what love should be...both sides...meaning it. Love this write...good luck in the contest my friend...
