As I lay here at the Mountains feet
I listen to the wind whispers sweet
Singing me a warm lullaby
My humble heart heaves a sigh
So soft and beautiful is the night
The moon and stars giving light
Clouds so soft float in the sky
I smile at them as they pass by
The whispering wind says welcome friend
Enjoy this land which has no end
Listen to the babbling brook
Rest in comfort in this tiny nook
Breakfast on wild berries and much more
Fresh water from the brook and not a store
Oats to grind for flour to bake some bread
With the other foods, makes a fine spread
Enjoy the banquet given by Mother Earth
Her genorisity fills one with mirth
She gives of her yield so very free
We are her children friend, you and me
