Softly, shadows fade with the rising sun.
I leave the world of dreams. My journey has begun
back to where castles are only pictures hung on walls
and majestic valleys are nothing more than halls.
As I float toward wakefulness, crossing aqua boundaries,
the beauty of the landscape, like a refreshing breeze,
fills my soul with peace. I gather images like flowers
to remind me of possibilities during my conscious hours.
The alarm is grating noisily, yet I wake up with a smile.
Lazily, I stretch and linger for a while…
savoring remnants of my dreams before I face my daily trial.
