Thinking of another pond ~
one that's half a world away.
If I should rely upon
what another pond would say
I could listen very close
to her rippling sighs, the breeze,
all the birds' and insects' notes ~
they would bring me ease.

I like the way this just flows from my lips. Some poems just beg to be heard not just read and putting voice to this enhance the experience so beautifully. A brilliant take on the prompt very nicely crafted. Great picture. Thank you for your words. Good luck in this contest.
