Man has chiseled castles out of old stone,
cultivated gardens, fields, forests
where once the earth knew perfection
Any artist knows not to invade,
nor even aspire to replicate or reduce
perfection by a perfect hand.
Mother Earth needs no caesarean,
nor plastic surgery nor even do-gooders proclamations
to tell us God’s handiwork is not good enough
to cure and cull what is as it should be.

Beautiful. Best of Luck.

- as it should be indeed.

So true.
And yet, every now and again, an image-bearer does his caretaking with such grace, that other image-bearers would scarely know the difference.
Beautifully done. And with grace.

Ahhh, but you sure come awful close, my Sister.
God told me so.

I enjoyed this read
has a strong "tell it like," it is sense to it.
"to cure and cull whatis as it should be." liked your closing line best. Good write
