Having drinks at the Ritz
Two cats in a battle of wits,
Shredding each other to bits,
Both putting on the glitz
Elegant black and white affair
with an occasional pouting glare,
This can only end in despair
neither one has a prayer...
On lookers think they're having fun
little do they know, fight has just begun,
Ladies knew the harm was done
Friendly words are said with puns
Mutually liked a guy name Steve
One thought the other was deceive
His intention were misconceive,
brawl broke out...both asked to leave

Thank you for entering my contest. There is nothing like a good cat fight to put a smile on a guys face.

A pre-write snuck in before I finished getting the contest up

But a delicious monorhyme needs serious attention and I have enjoyed this a lot.
Thanks for the entry.
Jeff
