Tender and sweet. Just the sort of poem that lets you feel the warm little kitten, asleep on the bed beside you, the pur and the pleasure of the kitty love.

is that a play on "meow"
but
you broaden the relationship so incredibly
"me" + "you"

when cat's whisker twitches it means s/he is dreaming. -
How clever! I've often wondered what cats dream of when they lie there, twitching and making small mewling noises. Squirrels trapped within their claws? Mice captured by tails? Or perhaps a wee bird is within their grasp...or maybe none of these at all.
This is cute and the final stanza is beautiful. -
