Always have luck, and love, to show;
always speak truth, and seek to know.
When ideas, cradled in bright hands,
breed hope and thought upon demand
vision expands and daydreams grow.
If sometimes progress seems too slow,
its pace deceptively mellow,
don't turn away, but understand -
always have luck.
As daylight, starlight, moonlight flow
above the working world below,
so does time flow - Lifes reprimand -
each moment more, and yet less, grand.
Always have luck!
always speak truth, and seek to know.
When ideas, cradled in bright hands,
breed hope and thought upon demand
vision expands and daydreams grow.
If sometimes progress seems too slow,
its pace deceptively mellow,
don't turn away, but understand -
always have luck.
As daylight, starlight, moonlight flow
above the working world below,
so does time flow - Lifes reprimand -
each moment more, and yet less, grand.
Always have luck!
Author notes
Inspired by the picture "Have Hope" by thali-n on DeviantArt. http://thali-n.deviantart.com/
The refrain - "always have luck" - is something my [7yo] son wrote once when making a website, and it's been stuck in my brain ever since! I'm glad I had a chance to brush it off and make it speak for me, as it speaks for him. (Even if it doesn't make sense!)
