The Lamb of God in a cup of redemption for all rekindled
The upper room salvation in full extent of His warm love
Unfolding for a book penned before the foundation of the world
Jesus singing in a heavenly angels' hush and disciples' melody
Agony in the garden awaited Christ exulting voice in faith
On this very night with emotions His sight weeping sorrow
Signing the score of His destiny with panoramic view to death
Falling on His face crying out "Abba Father" who can give rain
In freedom of choice opting the cup of dread and the way of cross
In matchless love tortured to death capturing your breath
Ascending to heaven wails of grief His sweat like blood
Upon His throne in hands of sin our hearts missing a beat
Heading up the Mount of Olives the crows in transplanted organs
Tearing Christ apart turning Him inside out more He can endure
His incredible power in God-ness and prison of flesh and weakness
Sweet Jesus knocking the mob to the ground Holy Spirit escorting
Approaching Jesus in rabbi greetings a comrade's kiss on the cheek
The devil depiscable user in nauseous Judas and adrenaline betrayal
Satan hung around in Judas's body enpowering him in fraud and vice
In garden vision on this night of nights "this is the day Lord has made"
Dr. Luke collecting the strong evidence of Jehovah lawyer's premeditation
In inside job satan's favorite Peter drawing swords-wielding and earcut
Face to face where darkness reigns the hour had come lynching the servant
Depend on God turn back the light on on anointed praise and peaceful hearts

Every year since a long time they celebrate the Lord's meal in Jerusalem. This last one Jesus celebrated with His disciples was not indistinct and a moment of rarity. Their stomachs were full, recollecting memories and the Son of God was washing their feet! A very humble experience from Jehovah's First-born! They sang songs most likely Psalm 115-118. Imagine Jesus signing knowing the day He was facing! Imagine His voice full of emotions how loud or quiet. It captures your soul! In Mat. 26: 30, it says "after singing praises they went out to the Mount of Olives". Jesus could have chosen to reject this cup after all He was the sovereign of the universe. In Mark 14: 36 He did asked His Daddy to take the cup away. Jesus was under intense stress and grief hard to handle, the divine impact and the emotions all at once. Jesus submitted Himself to sinful men even His immense power. He could have called legions of angels to help Him! The betrayal of Judas in a smiling facade was overwhelming his lips on Jesus' cheeks and his heart far from Him! The apostle Luke doctor of profession share his vision of this event in precision and Matthew apostle and tax collector. The devil has not made him do it but he had certainly oppressed him to do it. Same story with apostle Peter slicing off an ear of a vicious criminal servant before the rest of disciples. Satan had enpowered him to commit such a horrendous action. Don't overlook the devil hidden agenda! Satan is a huge master of cunning and deception and has "blinded the minds of the unbelievers" like Judas and Peter for thousands of years! Eph. 6: 12 says "we have a wrestling against the wicked spirit forces in the heavenly places". We need to stand firm against the devil old crafty acts. Judas' betrayal was a repulsive act against Jesus and a gross treachery against Jehovah. Satan may be bent on getting some of us involved but he is spent on trying his deviant schemes against Christians who are delighted to serve in the name of Jesus. What a heavenly pleasure to hand the trophy of victory to Jehovah God and desert a poor enemy traitor as the loser devil.
