because the doctor told me so
and anyway, I knew myself
from that 'ole test upon the shelf.
I was excited and afraid
but my mom hugged me so I made
the appointment to see the doc
whose office is just down the block.
My boy friend's gone now to Iraq.
We'll get married when he's back.
He says he's glad and loves me so...
that's the thing I want to know.
I'm working over at the mall
and saving money, yes, 'most all,
so I can buy cute baby clothes.
The truth is, hardly anybody knows.
Well, except now, YOU!

for a week or two. lol
