I wonder,
if I am blind,
would I find my way to you?
But I am not,
and I really wonder why I can't...
My world was vast,
untouched and unknown,
and then someone came in,
touch it, cared for it,
and live with it.
I have come to know that my world is not just mine,
rather,
it could be a shelter for someone needing it.
Now,
my world is vast,
violated and trashed,
of someone who just leave it,
let it, purposefully like that.
I wonder,
if I'm blind,
would I find my way to get away from you?
but I am not
and I really wonder why I can't...
I have come to know that my world is just not mine,
rather,
it could be a dump site of worthless people I let in.
My eyes are widely open,
and are looking for something,
but my visions are blurred.
My hands are spread out,
and are reaching for something,
but my sense of touch could sense nothing.
I am walking on a path,
very much indiscernible,
but as long as my visions wouldn't black out,
blurred might it be,
I would always look out.
I am walking on a path,
very much indiscernible,
but as long as I reach out,
sense nothing I might be,
I would always look out.

I love the beginning...you say you know you have the ability to do something, but wonder why you cant...great! I read this like four times! Also, your Authors notes struck me. I like that you take pride in your work. So many poets say, "oh its so bad" but I like you think your work is good. So do I! Thank you so much for entering, and reading all of the rules. Best of luck be to you.
Warmest,
Mylee
