I am from an iPod
From Rocawear and the computer
I am from my mind
The color of a pitch-black night, freezing cold.
tasted like spices
I am from roses that are cultivated in the flower patch next door, as red as blood.
the roses like a reminder of bloody wars.
I am from noodles and pasta
I’m from Thanksgiving, eating turkey and giving thanks
From sticks and stones will break my bones;
But words will never hurt me and listen to your elders
I’m from I am the Great Pretender
From Rock & Roll and a guitar.
I’m from Avon and Applebees, from watermelons and Coca-Cola.
From my grandmother’s demise,
a gloomy time for all my family,
with tears shedding all around.
from when we went to Washington D.C.,
to the White House,
the Monument,
all of those nice places…
Places I will always cherish.
All of those happy memories and sad memories, stored in my mind,
along with my thoughts and other memories that were indescribable.
I am from those moments
and much more.
I am from listening to music,
from going on the computer,
from eating noodles,
from deaths that will never be forgotten,
and from pleasant memories.
When one journey ends,
another unfolds…

This was a poem I did in 6th Grade based on another person's poem, I can't remember who... XD Well, whatever. Hope you like it!
