becomes someone new
lays the foundation
tries to decieve heself again

glossy brown tresses
bleached starlet blonde
varying shades of gold and curls

peaches and cream complexion
now stained with a Hollywood tan
pale rose tinted lips that smiled
painted into a scarlet pout
slate gray eyes that once danced with laughter
is where her disenchanted spirit resides
the outward appearance a fabrication
the real beauty found within
