city slicker paw licker
night owl on the prowl
finds a pot steaming hot
gooey walnut chocolate fudge

sugary syrupy dark and rich
eyes gleam whiskers twitch

smells like honey only better
looks like custard only wetter
sniff sniff
heady smell so thick so lush
i want i want soft smooth slush
slurp
mouth explodes with liquid fire
delicious drippy delightful desire

gingersnap jelly cookies cream
melba toasts shortbread dream
slurp
baked-Alaska cupcake candy
spiced ice with a touch of brandy
now I say what we all know
slurping's no good
too slow... too slow...
leap lunge lap splash swish slosh drool
twenty five laps in a chocolate pool
chocolate dripping sugar rush tripping
covered in fudge slow-motion trudge
friendly neighborhood candy store
chocolate junkies gotta have more

i am a certified chocolate addict. it's my remedy for everything... bad hair days, forgot my homework days, fought with my best friend days ...
there's just something about chocolate. it makes everything seem better. if i could, i would eat only chocolate and nothing else. okay, may be spinach to make my bones grow stronger but it'll have to be made with chocolate sauce lol
