The thrumming sound of
rushing blood fills my ears.
My eyes see the world
titian tinged.
Reason is gone
only the need to hurt,
to make someone else
feel pain.
It is not a sharing I seek
for in this immortal state
I feel nothing…
but the need.
A second, then two…
breathing slows
the rage passes
and the rationalization
begins.

very creative way to express the way that frustration burns like a raging fire inside one's mind before the contemplative reflexes kick in and reason becomes clear.
