For the hubby problems, wife doesn't condone
My son & I, Mother & her girls
I know, as I pick up my comb
Face my fears, for they are few
But I must think of my son, too
I look around the big, scary world
And think, 'What will we do?'
My life has taken many turns
So many bridges I have yet to burn
As the Red, White, & Blue unfurls
Friend from foe I must now discern
Face my fears, for they are few
But I must think of my son, too
I look around the big, scary world
And think, 'What will we do?'
So many questions are in my mind
Such scary thoughts, even in light
My many thoughts, they swirl
I can hardly go to sleep at night
Face my fears, for they are few
But I must think of my son, too
I look around the big, scary world
And think, 'What will we do?'
In God's arms I find rest
For He has provided me with the best
Friends so true, one guy, one girl
I look at my son & know I am blessed
Face my fears, for they are few
But I must think of my son, too
I look around the big, scary world
And think, 'What will He do?'
Author notes
This is about what I'm going through now. I'll be homeless after tomorrow. I'm scared more than I have told anyone, including my Annie Bananie & my Coffee Bean. I only ask for much prayer & many thoughts. Should anyone actually be able to help, send a message to:
Ann: www.allpoetry.com/annXmarieXcampbell
Dusty: www.allpoetry.com/Sadistik
I won't be able to comment back immediately, but anyone who comments, I WILL return it asap.
Thank you for your love & support & prayers.
It's sort of a song...I guess.

Bright Cheetah,
be encouraged. When one taks a step on principle through faith and knowledge the Great Spirit honors that commitment. He will tend to your every need and speak to you in His own way, if you will but listen.
Yes there is a way to harness and begin to readily receive that voice, to understand it more.
I commend you for your boldness of action and will pray earnestly for you and yours.

I really feel for you, I was once where you are but it will pass. You may not see a way now but it will come and you will be stronger for it. All words that mean nothing when you are frightened for your child and yourself but honestly, all things pass. Never underestimate the power of prayer. Blessings be with you while you are in need.

True. I have found a place to live until I can find a place of my own. I am with family & friends & church people. I have also been able to start an at home business which I believe will truly work, since it's about helping people. Thank you for your words of kindness. I've had many blessings just since writing this poem.
Thanks for your kindness,
~Bright

May the spirit walk with you
In this scary time of life
When it seems the world is darkest
And pain cuts like a knife
I will pray to all the gods
Where ever they may be
May the answers soon find you
And set your worst fears free
I hope you find a path from the pain you are going through, Blessings John

Niaish for your prayers, my friend! The support I'm getting is really helping me face this head on, instead of feeling sorry for myself. I'm trying to steady my thoughts, my self, so I can do whatever is best for my son & I. I feel like I have so much support here, & thank you for providing some.

This is sad!
I feel your sorrow for I have been there and see it on the horizon for me as well. If this is a home that ie being forclosed on...go to the bank and talk to them, they will make a deal as they can't use it iether. I will pray for you and you will be in my thoughts. Good luck, The Shaker

That would help if I had a job. But I am scared to put Dewey in daycare (all the horror stories, especially since he can't speak!), so no job for me. I appreciate the suggestion, though, & will certainly do so once I have work.
